Slowly and quietly, month by month, The Beer Hawk boxes contain more AB/InBev brands.
I hope I’m wrong, but Birra Del Borgo are definitely one.
Oh, and this is far too sweet.
It pours a nice gold and smells of candy canes and hay bales, but as soon as you take a mouthful you find a beer that’s sticky and sickly with sugar syrup.
It wipes out any of the earthiness that the Saison yeast may have offered, and it destroys any of the bitterness that the hops may have provided.
It tastes like candy sugar and it went down the sink.
