Slowly the AB/InBev beer creeps ever further into Beer Hawk’s monthly box, and it’s a bit hard to say anything about this one at all, other than this is pale and insignificant.
You see, this light golden beer smells of straw and honey, but wafting in from another room.
And taking a swig you find lots of watery bland sweet corn, caramel and shortcake, but mainly its watery.
Thin and watery.
The hops offer themselves up with an apologetic whimper of lemon and balsa wood.
And yet, like a glass of fresh cold water, Blue Point’s Summer Ale is refreshing.
Refreshing, but really very boring.
