This is a very fruity beer.
Very fruity indeed.
Called IPA Citra, it’s not a single hop beer, but instead combines several hops that help the Citra pop out by providing leafy greenery in the background.
The malting is soft and supple, round and chewy, with caramel wafers, honey and brioche creating a very enjoyable body that’s creamy at the edges as the hops make the beer smell of lemons, limes and satsumas, and taste of lemon jelly, sherbet fountains, grapefruit and mango, all laid on a bed of freshly chopped herbal leaves, while a soft earthy stone fruit yeast bubbles away in the fizzy bitter finish.
