Radicals Brewing Co. Big Hop Red (5%)

Big Hop RedBold Irish Beer.
I’m not sure.
It’s kind of OK, if you like heavily malty beers with a weirdly sterile smell.
Drinkable if unexciting, there’s a lot of chewy caramel and toffee, honey and oaty biscuits but hardly any hops to speak of save for a bland lemon and herbal hedgerow thing that whimpers a bit at the edges of the drink.
And yet Big Hop Red is drinkable, enjoyable even, it’s just not the “Lively Piney Zesty” beer that it claims to be.
