Fierce Beer Granadilla Guerilla (5.5%)

granadilla-guerillaThis is an IPA brewed with passion fruit.
Personally, I don’t like it.
It smells of passion fruit, so much so that it outweighs anything beery that you might fancy encountering.
But that’s not the problem for me.
The problem that I have with it is that on taking a swig the passion fruit is so upfront in the brew that it makes the beer taste and feel a little bilious.
A little like sweet fruity vomit.
The malts cry out for help in a withered wimpy caramel moan and the hops wave a limp lemony white flag against the overbearing tart acidity of the added fruit.
No, I really don’t like it.
