Metalman Brewing Co. Zwickel (5.3%)

ZwickelUnfiltered Lager fresh from a can.
That’s what this is.
And it’s not too shabby.
Not too shabby at all.
A spiced bread dough aroma and a little foamy head greet you as you pour, and the beer sits a warm gold in your glass.
Taking a swig the beer feels smooth and creamy, with a lightly toasted caramel wafer malt, lots of sticky honey and a some nice spiced earthy yeast action in the background.
The hops are herbal and steely dry, green and pithy, and they make for a beer with a good crisp finish.
Decent.
