This Pale Ale was brewed in collaboration with Opeth and is sharp and fresh, pouring a bright gold with a little fluffy head and smelling of bitter lemon and hibiscus.
The malting is soft and supple, light and subtle, it’s wafers dunked in golden syrup, runny honey on French bread, the yeast adding a light bread dough gassiness to the background.
Over this the hops are fresh sherbet lemon, grapefruit pith and sticky pine resin with walnuts at the edges, and the beer finishes with a long bitter and pleasingly dry sigh.
