Dark Revolution’s Chocolate Milk Stout is really rather good.
It pours an inky black with a little tiny cappuccino head and smells of cocoa and toffee.
This is a beer that is all bout its malts, they’re rich and chewy, full of burned wholemeal toast, coffee, dark chocolate, honey and waffles, an this is bolstered by the creamy body that the lactose provides.
It’s sweet and milky and the hops are a sharp woody hedgerow snap over it.
This is a beer to sit back and take your time over, it’s a pudding of a beer.
Try it.
