This is a very light lagered beer in the Zwickel style.
It’s fresh and crisp and soft, pouring a pale gold and smelling of garden flowers.
There’s a gentle caramel and wafer biscuit malt, a dab of honey and some sea salt, and there’s a fresh slap of herbal greenery and lemon zest from the hops.
It’s well made, it’s just unbelievably unexciting.
Even the long crisp bitter finish doesn’t up my interest any.
I’m just getting thoroughly bored of lagered beer right now.
