Solvay are new to me, but based on this little bottle of Dry Hopped Saison, I want to find out more.
Pouring a light gold with a foamy little head, the smell is straw and honey and some garden flowers.
The malting is soft and round and chewy, all honey biscuits and caramel wafers, and there’s a warm earthy yeasty fug in the background.
Over this the hops are sharp and brittle, herbal and green, metallic with basil and a sharp lemon tang in the crisp bitter finish.
Super.
