Bad Co. Slow Rider (2.8%)

slow-rider-1This is a rather fine low alcohol beer, a beer you can happily drink if you want something thirst quenching when you need to stay compos mentis.
Slow Rider is a grapefruit pale ale that pours a pale gold and smells of honey and, rather unsurprisingly, grapefruit.
There’s a light caramel and wafer malt, a dan of honey and some shortcake, and there’s a decent tangy herbal hopping, some lemon zest and then the fresh sweet grapefruit comes splashing through.
A very good beer indeed, and it puts me in mind of a song.
