This is a very good take on a Belgian Blonde beer and as such is an impressive way to find a new brewery.
Django pours a pale gold with a little fizzing head and smells of lightly spiced garden borders.
There’s a deep rich caramel and Belgian waffle malt, with honey and warm bagels and some sticky brown sugar syrup providing a solid body across which the Goldings and Mosaic hops add equal parts pithy green shrubbery and sharp fresh lime and passion fruit.
All this and a warm earthy spice from the yeast that makes the beer feel round and chewy.
I like this very much indeed.
