Sadler’s continue to impress, and this time it’s with a canned dry hopped Lager.
The beer pours a bright gold and smells lovely and fresh, all honey and lemon zest.
And that’s not a surprise as Citrus Tide has fresh lemons added to the recipe.
There’s a good creamy soft body, it’s smooth and round and full of shortbread and honey, caramel and ice cream ones with just a little vanilla at its edges, and the hops – Cascade, Chinook, Centennial and Citra – slap you around the chops with lime leaves and passion fruit, mango, grapefruit and garden herbs, while the lemons pop up to add a super zingy freshness to the crisp bitter finish.
This is a super little beer.
