Verdant Brewing Co. Bloom (6.5%)

Verdant continue to make me want to be living back in Falmouth so I can visit them and drink all of their beer all of the time.
Bloom is a wonderful IPA that does everything just right.
Its pale gold colour with its little wispy head looks very inviting and the smell is a big Juicy Fruit chewing gum and peach kiss.
The malting is soft and subtle, its ice cream wafer, caramel and muffin providing just enough body over which the Mosaic and Columbus hops do their thing.
And their thing is a full on blast of lime leaves and lemon bonbons, mango, blueberry and just the merest hint of Danish Blue cheese that leads you by the tongue to a sharp and deliciously bitter finish.
