This is the best Brooklyn beer that I’ve had for some time, pouring a pale gold and smelling of apricots, lemons and flower borders.
There’s a light crunchy malt that gives you a soft and satisfying body full of wafers and shortcake, honey, vanilla and caramel, and the hopping is big and bright, all lemon zest and passion fruit, lime leaves, grapefruit and peaches.
In the finish there’s a little spun sugar sweetness and some resinous pine that adds a rich sweetness to the long bitter finish.
Easy drinking and very satisfying.
