Fallen have started to can their beer and if their IPA is anything to go by then it’s a damned fine idea.
You see, this IPA jumped out of its little metal jacket a shiny bright gold with a fluffy white head, its aroma drifting up to me as fresh as a daisy.
And what a lovely aroma it is, all fruit salad and meadow flowers.
Taking a swig I was immediately met by a great big burst of lime zest and sherbet lemons, kiwi and mango from the hops, and underneath them the malting provided a soft salted caramel waffle body.
And with a finish that’s long and crisp and bitter, I could only wish that I’d got more.
I can’t wait to try the other cans.
