This is a big fat fruity joy.
It’s exactly what it tells you it is.
It’s pale gold with a little frothy head.
It smells of lemon and mandarin jelly and a hint of cheese.
It has a malting that is rich and round with caramel and honey, wafers and cupcakes.
Its hops come at you with citrus razors and slash away at you, blades of lemongrass and broken sharpened lemon bonbons push into your cheeks while steely bitter garden herbs dry your palate and leave you puckering.
Partizan should in fact call this beer Big Fat Fruity Joy and let me draw the label for it, hint hint.
