An IPA brewed with Magnum, Centennial and Columbus hops and Dry Hopped with mountains of Citra, this is a super beer.
The malting is all honey and shortbread, caramel and wafers and the beer pours a rich gold with a little bubbly head, a lovely sweet and sticky honeysuckle and sweet shop aroma drifting up at you as you pour.
The hops are the star here, though, with lashings of fresh lemonade, bonbons, marmalade and grapefruit zest, sherbet coated jelly sweets and dry to the bone metallic herbal leaves.
This all makes for a beer that’s round and chewy but comes with a face slapping dry bitterness in the finish.
