There are currently two Love Or Nothings.
A standard version – not that Art Brew ever do anything standard – and a Sorachi Ace version.
And what a beer it is.
It’s a beer so dry in its finish that it’ll make your eyes water and your tongue crease in the most painfully pleasurable way.
The beer pours a peachy gold with a fluffy white head and smells of Yuzu and lemon curd.
The malting is a soft and creamy caramel wafer, chewy and sweet with honey and shortcake at its edges, it just about stands up to the Sorachi onslaught.
Because you are very quickly hit full in the face with lemon zest and grapefruit pith, sherbet fizz and steely basil leaves, woody dried rolling tobacco and hazel leaf tea.
Art Brew continue to make beer that tastes like no one else, and this is an extremely good thing.
