Dark Revolution Lighten Up (4.8%)

This is a sweet and creamy Helles Lager, and I for one like it very much.
It has a vanilla rich body with spun sugar, waffles, honey and brioche buns, and the beer smells of apples and caramel.
You’ll find a decent sharp herbal hopping as well, edged with lemon zest it adds a much needed bitterness to the edges of the beer.
The finish is crisp and fresh and round with a yeasty bite and an orchard fruit fleshiness.
All in all, very good.
