Fierce Beer Tropical Tart (4.5%)

More sweet and less sour than I was expecting, this is nonetheless, a rather good little beer that pours a rich amber and smells of tropical fruit salad and honeysuckle.
Taking a mouthful you find the mango and passion fruit bring a round fleshy fruitiness to the heart of the beer while the malting provides support with walnut bread and toffee, cream crackers and a dab of honey.
The hops are all prickly nettles and hedgerow with a twist of fresh lemon juice, and the sourness builds into a fresh tartness in the finish of the beer.
Most importantly for me, the beer went particularly well with my warm chicken, red chilli and spinach pasta salad.
