Hawkshead Brewery ITI (3.5%)

This, especially given its ABV, is exceptionally good.
ITI is a Pale Ale brewed with New Zealand hops and it absolutely sings.
Pouring from its can a bright gold with a little frothy head, the aroma is a sweet inviting fruit salad.
Taking a swig you find a lovely soft malt base that’s creamy and light, with caramel and shortcake, and then there is the bright zesty kiss of the hops.
Pithy gooseberries, green grape skins and celery, kiwi, lime leaves and lemongrass, and a lovely sherbet fizz takes you to a crisp clean finish.
I’m very impressed.
