To Øl Raid Beer (5.2%)

This is a very nicely made hoppy Pilsner packed with Simcoe, Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Centennial that hit you full in the face with Grapefruit jelly, lime leaves, woody tobacco, sherbet lemons and orange marmalade.
And that’s a great place to start.
But it doesn’t end there, as you find a lovely soft and creamy malting humming away underneath.
There’s caramel wafers, honey and vanilla, French bread and a little lightly salted yeast hit right in the finish.
The beer is beautifully presented as well, and when I fist saw it I thought it seemed really familiar.
And then I realised it looks remarkably like an album my little Kabukikore label released back in 2003.
