This is a rather nice high octane brown Ale brewed with Nugget hops and a load of rye.
The result is a beer that pours a deep conker red and smells of treacle tart and tamarind.
Taking a swig you find a big fat sticky toffee pudding surrounded by lots of earthy meaty pumpernickel, honey, a hint of coffee and a handful of walnuts.
The Nugget hops hit you with dry autumnal leaf litter, lemon juice and orange marmalade, and all of this is soaked in a bath of chest warming rum and a dab of beef stock.
I only wish that I had a pint of it.
