A Pale Ale packed with Mosaic is fine by me, and Abbeydale have made a very good and very sessionable beer that’s packed with flavour.
Pouring from its can a bright gold with a little fluffy head, the smell is tropical fruit sweeties and taking a swig you find that that is where the flavour begins.
Lots of fresh fruit salad, zingy sherbet lemons, some pencil shavings and a dab of pine resin glueing all of this together with a bouquet garni of fresh herbal leaves from the hops that is underpinned by a solid caramel and wafer body, some honey and a nice biscuity crunch.
All in all, very good indeed.
