Charnwood Brewery Outback (4%)

Charnwood continue to impress and to be my favourite local brewery.
Outback is a Pale Ale with Australian hops and it’s a gently fruity easy drinking beer.
It pours a pale gold and smells of hibiscus and honeycomb, soft and sweet and inviting.
The malts are a gentle wash of soft caramel, wafers and honey and a little salted popcorn, and the hops give you peach and passion fruit, a touch of apple juice, chives and zingy lemon zest, all of which makes for a crisp and clean refreshingly bitter finish.
Very good.
