Cloudwater Brew Co. IPA Chinook Vic Secret (6.5%)

Yet another super IPA from Cloudwater, this one is headed by the peach and melon, Grapefruit and rolling tobacco of the Chinook hops, backed up by Vic Secret, Comet and Amarillo.
All this is made even more fruity by the round fleshy background hum from the yeast, while the malting is a soft caramel and pancake, shortbread and honey delight.
The aroma is as fresh as a daisy as well, with orchard flowers and apricots drifting up to you as you pour.
The finish, rather than being a big bitter wallop, is a gentle wash of creamy sweet shop jelly sweets with a hint of herbal bitterness at the edges.
Lovely stuff.
