Magic Rock Brewing Co. Tap Type (6%)

Another beautifully dressed can of beer, Magic Rock continue to ensure that their products look fabulous while being immediately identifiable, just like good branding ought to be.
How about the the beer inside I hear you ask.
Well, a couple of you.
Tap Type is an American Pale Ale and it’s a dangerously easy to drink beer given its ABV.
You see, it comes on all soft and gentle, crisp and fresh, sitting a pale gold in my glass and smelling of orchard fruit and passion flowers.
The malting is all pancakes and honey, brioche, shortbread and light creamy caramel, and the hops – T90 Magnum, Cryohops Citra and Mosaic – are super fresh lemon wedges and marmalade, kiwi, herbal leaves, sherbet and lime soda.
This makes for a beer that’s light and supple, crisp and clean in the finish with just a little background hit of alcohol right at the end to remind you that after a couple you may just fall over.
