Gipsy Hill Brewing Co. Day Tripper #2 (5.5%)

Now this, this is lovely.
It’s a Pale Ale brewed with a mixture of hops as long as your arm and a load of orange zest for added zip.
Th beer pours a rich gold with a fuzzy cream coloured head and smells of Opal Fruits (Starburst for the youngsters reading this) and lightly spiced orchard fruits.
There’s a delightful malting that is creamy and smooth and soft.
It’s made up of bran rich biscuits, ring donuts and runny honey and a little salted peanut brittle, and over it the hops – Magnum, Waimea, Wai-Iti, Galaxy, Vic Secret, El Dorado – play all sorts of fruity games on your tongue.
Satsuma and mango, passion fruit, basil and lime leaves create a mix of soft fleshy fruit and sharp steely herbs that pop and crackle with fizzy sherbet as you head inevitably towards the lip smacking dry bitter finish that sparkles with the lovely orange zest zing.
