I was really looking forward to this but I’m now sitting and looking at it in disappointment.
Unfortunately it is almost completely flat and without any carbonation the beer feels slick and oily in a really unpleasant way.
The result of this is a sickly sweet brown sugar malt and hops that give nothing precise, just an astringent bitterness that is carried into oblivion by a boozy heat.
It’s amazing the difference some bubbles could make and I’d be interesting to try this with some proper fizz.
