The Cotswold Brewing Co. Premium Cotswold Lager (5%)

There’s not a huge amount to say about this beer, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like it.
Sweet honey and caramel combine with rich tea biscuit and a hint of vanilla from the malts in this Lager, and there’s a smack of birch and willow, hedgerow foliage, camomile tea and a twist of lemon from the hops while the beer sits a pale gold in my glass and smells of toffee apples and fresh bread.
Brief it may be, but all in all pretty good.
