Mad Hatter Brewing Co. Mandarin IPA (6%)

This is yummy.
Yummy I tell you.
It’s an IPA, an IPA brewed with Mandarina Bavaria hops and lots of oranges, both dried and fresh.
It pours a warm gold with a big fluffy head, though I poured mine a bit heavily and made a yeasty soup, and it smells of spicy oranges.
Taking a swig you find a big gloopy malt full of toffee popcorn, honey and shortcake, and there’s a big bang of hedgerow and lime leaves, garden herbs and a good dose of sweet mandarin.
Then there’s the oranges adding a sticky marmalade richness and some extra zesty zip to the long bitter finish.
