This is a terrifically dry little Saison that is bursting with lemongrass from the, um, added lemongrass.
The beer pours a pale straw gold with a tiny ring of bubbles for a head and smells of honey and lemon groves with a hint of sweet silage.
Taking a mouthful you find a solid malt body that gives you brioche and vanilla pancakes, salted shortbread and honey, the hops are green and pithy, stinging nettles and camomile tea, then there’s a warm earthy farmyard fug from the yeast and the perfumed bite of lemongrass as you reach the long crisp finish.
