Belching Beaver Brewery Orange Vanilla IPA (6.9%)

Brewed with natural orange and vanilla flavours, this is Belching Beaver’s take one an orange ice lolly, or popsicle as those pesky Americans say on the bottle, and it works really well.
It’s a beer that’s packed with fun, from the fresh cream and fruit salad aroma and the frothy white head to the glowing golden orange colour, it’s a beer to really enjoy.
There are some “proper” beer things going on in here as well, so don’t worry that this is all about flavourings, because you’ll find a solid custard donut, honey biscuit and spun sugar malt body and a big fresh blast of lemon zest and fresh herbal leaves, tangerine and passion fruit from the Citra and Mosaic hops.
But all the while there’s a deliciously soft and rich vanilla creaminess and a slow building orange cordial sweetness that leaves the finish smooth and sparkling.
Lovely stuff.
