Lervig Aktiebryggeri Lucky Jack Graperfruit Edition (4.7%)

Not as good as Grapefruit High Wire but miles ahead of Elvis Juice, Lervig’s Grapefruit version of Lucky Jack is really lovely.
It pours a pale gold with a little fizzing head and smells of sweet honey coated grapefruit.
There’s a seriously good caramel wafer, honey as pancake malt and the hops are sharp and green, herbal leaves and lemon bonbons, hedgerow greenery and a dab of marmalade, but it’s the lovely round and juicy grapefruit with its sharp pithy bitterness that makes this so very good.
