Before I begin telling you about the beer can I just say that I absolutely love Lost & Found’s style.
Their cans are to my eye, things of beauty, bringing to mind the early Rune Grammofon artwork of Kim Hiorthøy or those mystical mythical looking Factory Records sleeves of the early 80’s.
Now for the beer.
This is a limited edition Double IPA and it is very good indeed, pouring a warm gold it smells of boozy orange marmalade.
The malting is thick and gloopy and sticks to your sides, filling your face with brown sugar syrup, Belgian waffles, honey and brandy snaps, and the hops are a sharp slap of metallic herbal leaves, sticky marmalade and lemon curd, and there’s a fizzy sherbet zesty zing to dry bitter finish.
Excellent.
