Brew By Numbers 05|26 (6.2%)

“Bottled on 25/09/17” says the bottle.
I was handed it on the 30th and I’m drinking it two days later on the 2nd of October.
You can’t get beer much fresher than that without living in the brewery.
And what a delightfully fresh and zingy slap of hop juice this is.
Brewed with Ekuanot and Citra, 05|26 is a smashing little IPA that slaps your cheeks with fizzing sherbet lemon, mandarins and grape skins, peaches, mango and a sprig of mint along with a bitter herbal freshness.
There’s a super malt body as well, with lightly salted caramel buns, a lick of honey and some peanut brittle giving the beer a sweet backbone that tempers the dry pithy fruit of the finish and the tropical fruit sweet shop of the aroma.
