Brew York Tonkoko (4.3%)

This is impressive.
It’s also rather enjoyable, which is the main thing.
Tonkoko is a Milk Stout brewed with Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Coconut and Cacao and everything is there when you take a swig.
The beer feels thick and creamy and there’s a little bit of everything going on without overwhelming.
You find some rich vanilla ice cream, a little woody nuttiness, warm round chocolate and even some soft coconut, a flavour I find often disappears in the beer that uses it.
The snap of autumnal red leaf litter adds a much needed bitter twang, but ultimately this is a chewy sticky delight.
