Durham Brewery Interstellar (4.9%)

Interstellar is an exceptionally good Pilsner that has matured for three months and includes a hefty dose of Cascade to work alongside the traditional Saaz hops.
The beer pours a pale gold with a frilly cream head and smells of lightly spiced apricots and honey.
The malting is soft and creamy, with caramel and waffles, honey and Rich Tea biscuits creating a solid backbone that is made spicy and warm by the yeast.
The hops cut across this with sharp citrus, pithy hedgerow shrubbery, hazel tea and sherbet lemons making for a finish that’s bright and crisp and deliciously bitter.
