La Socarrada Cerveza Premium Con Romero Y Miel (6%)

Finally I’ve found a Spanish beer that’s made me sit up and take notice.
This is brewed with rosemary and rosemary honey and it is, quite simply, delicious.
It pours a peachy gold with a little fuzzy head and smells of honeyed toast and dewy meadows.
The malting is smooth and creamy with popcorn and toffee, bread crusts and vanilla fudge, and the hops bring a sharp green herbal leaf hit, some lemon zest and nettle tea to the party.
And then there’s this delicious woody, herbal piquancy of the rosemary coupled with the soft smooth richness of the honey that makes me not want to get to the end of this bottle.
Lovely stuff.
