Melons and mandarins, peaches and mango, plus a swish of sharp green herbal foliage make this beer an immediate hoppy delight.
The beer sits in my glass a pale gold with a fuzzy head and smells of Passion flower and honeysuckle, sweet and perfumed and inviting.
But this beer isn’t only about its hops – Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe, for those of you who like the details – there’s a soft and subtle creamy caramel and honey bagel malting as well, and it gives some much needed backbone to the beer, stopping it feeling too thin as you rush headlong towards the crisp bitter fruity finish.
And as for the packaging, it’s seriously cool.
