Sentinel Brewing Co. ACW (5%)

ACW is an Apricot and Cumin Wit and I like it.
It does all the usual Wit beer things very well, with its lightly spiced bread dough aroma and its pale gold colour.
There’s some banana and caramel, shortbread biscuits and honey, and the beer feels soft and smooth as you drink.
The hops add that crackling spicy hedgerow thing, all pithy bracken, nettle tea and a twist of lemon, all very nice, all very Witty.
But with this beer you’ve also got the apricot and its gently fuzzy fleshy fruitiness and the snap of earthy spice that the Cumin brings.
Very nice indeed.
