This is a fine little IPA with a big dry bitter finish that pours a rich amber with a frothy little head and smells of candied peel and wood chippings.
There’s a solid round malt body with plenty of toffee and Rich Tea biscuits, brown sugar and ice cream cones, but it’s the hops that own this beer.
Between the Ekuanot and Amarillo you get hit with a massive slap of steely herbal leaves, sticky orange marmalade, sherbet lemons and rolling tobacco, and the longest driest most bitter finish you could possibly wish for.
Lovely.
