West By Three Brewing Co. Helles Yes! (4.6%)

This is the best yet from West By Three and I speak as someone who has been getting bored of modern Lagered beer.
Helles Yes is a lager that’s been dry hopped with Citra with lovely results.
The beer pours a bright gold and smells like a fresh fruit salad, and from the initial swig you know you’re in for a treat with a soft caramel wafer, brioche and honey malting, a speckling of salty yeast spiciness and then a wash of round and chewy, fresh and fleshy fruit from the hops.
There’s oranges and lime leaves and lots and lots of peaches.
All of this makes for a finish that’s crisp, clean and refreshingly dry.
