Amundsen Bryggeri Hop Magic (7%)

Amundsen are an Oslo based Brewery and this, a New England IPA, is brewed in collaboration with Dry & Bitter and Dugges Bryggeri which means you’d expect something really good, right?
Right.
And it is really very good indeed.
Slinking from its can a cloudy pale gold with a big frothy head, the smell is a peach and passion fruit delight.
There’s a soft malt that’s all caramel and fondant fancies, waffles and wafers, a great big hit of hops that packs in mango and apricot, sherbet lemons and pithy green foliage, and all this is pushed forward by that round, almost fleshy, dried fruit chewiness of the yeast.
Very good.
