Brinkburn’s easy drinking Bitter is alright, if nothing to get overly excited about.
It does all the things you’d want from a Bitter, it just doesn’t do anything more than that.
There’s a malty biscuit and caramel body, some brown sugar sweetness and then a hint of aniseed and some hedgerow greenery from the hops.
And that’s your lot.
Drinkable if you were out in the pub for an evening, but that’s about it.
