This is a truly lovely Saison that pours a pale gold and smells of lightly spiced strawberries and honey.
The malting, which includes eight different types of grain, provide a deliciously biscuity backbone, with toffee and pumpernickel, buttery popcorn and caramel waffles.
Then there’s the hopping that swishes in with gooseberries and green grapes, lemon sherbet, hedgerow foliage and lime zest, everything is bright, pin sharp and fresh.
All this is underpinned by the rich mushroom and damp woodland meatiness of the three yeasts and the Chuckleberries that adds an extra fruity Cox’s Apple tartness to the crisp bitter finish.
