Northern Monk Brew Co. Faith (5.4%)

So convinced was I that I’d had this before that I started slugging away at it without making any notes.
And then halfway through I thought I’d check in with UnTappd and there it was, my first time.
Yes, my life is sad.
Faith is a really decent Pale Ale that gives you lots of sharp citrus hops on a soft malty bed.
You find lemon sherbet and lime leaves, grapefruit zest and oranges, all fresh and zingy and full of fizzy life, and underneath there’s a popcorn and waffle, walnut, honey and shortcake malting that adds some much needed spun sugar sweetness and chewiness to the body of this hazy golden beer.
I like this very much.
