This is a big fat juicy DIPA that’s been brewed with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra.
There’s a hefty malt backbone that I like a lot, it’s rich and round and chewy and, in its own way, rather fruity.
You’ll find shortcake and toffee, honey and something slightly figgy over which the hops come on sharp as a tack, bright and fresh and bursting with orange marmalade and sherbet lemons, lemon zest and some warm woody tobacco.
And all this is driven forward by a deep boozy warmth that adds some touches of brandy to the sticky satisfying finish.
