I really like this pale coffee stout that pours a peachy gold and smells of caramel syrup spiked creamy coffee.
The beer is round and soft and super smooth, its boozy warmth making it feel comforting and inviting as you dive in to find gloopy runny toffee, brandy snaps and honey on toast from the malting and a sharp slap of fresh and spiky tamarind tinged hedgerow leaves from the hops.
The coffee bubbles around all this and is made vanilla rich and creamy by the lactose, it’s woody and earthy with a sweet ice cream softness in the finish.
